It brings immense pleasure to share the success of the Roshan memorial cup played on 19th October 2019, we had Rosh 11(A special team name in the remembrance of Roshan), Banglore Rockers, Chikmaglur bulls participating in the tournament.
The first match took place between Banglore rockers and Chikmagalur bulls and batting first Banglore rockers scored 49/4 in the 8 overs match and it was walk in the park for Chikmagalur Bulls as they chased it down without losing a wicket in just 4 overs.
The second match took place between Rosh 11 and Chikmagalur Bulls, batting first the bulls managed to get a competitive score onboard 94/4 and Rosh11 were in the drivers seat until the bull's strike bowlers bowled some tight overs Rosh 11 ended up losing the thriller match by just 2 runs and with this win, the bulls raced to the finals of Roshan memorial cup.
The Third and knock out match of the league took place between Banglore rockers and Rosh11, batting first again Banglore rockers had an above par score on board of 54/6 in 8 overs and in reply, the Rosh 11 openers went guns blazing as they sealed the match in just 5 overs and made their spot in the finals.
The wait was over and the finals were between Rosh 11 VS Chikmagalur Bulls, The matching course changed as it was finals it happened to be a 12 overs match and winning the toss bulls opted to bat and put up a good total to defend 87/8, out came the Rosh 11 openers and made it look so easy chasing the score in just 9 overs and won the match by 7 wickets.
The team dedicated this win to Roshan in his remembrance and were thankful to his sister Seema and her team for organizing such a great event.
